About our attorney

Lori grew up in a close family in Indiana, where she attended Ball State University. There, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English, and went on to complete her Master’s in English: Composition and Rhetoric. After teaching college English, and braving the cold Indiana winters, Lori moved to Texas to attend Baylor Law School, a lifetime dream of hers.

While Baylor Law School was a new challenge for her, she learned to appreciate that challenge – and the law – more than she ever thought possible. Her final year of law school, she embarked on a project to start her own non-profit, and Waco TECH (Technology Expanding Community Horizons) opened its doors in June of 2002. Waco TECH provided computer access, training, and resources to low-income citizens in Waco.

Lori earned her Juris Doctorate in May of 2002 and joined the State Bar of Texas in 2003. Since then, Lori has continued to give back to her community through her work helping others navigate the tricky waters of the law.

As an educator, and lifelong learner, it is essential to Lori to make sure that the people she is working with understand the ins and outs of the world they’re in. As a result, she emphasizes communication and education in her legal practice. She works hard to ensure that you will be well-informed throughout your case and be well-equipped to make the necessary decisions.

Lori’s focus is always on her clients and finding the best way to help them with their issues, while keeping the cost down. She truly enjoys her work and tries to make her clients’ lives better on a daily basis. Lori understands that your case is about you and your goals. She works tirelessly to make her clients’ lives a little calmer throughout the legal process.
